Awarding Grants ~ How SDEF makes academic dreams come true!

The application process is open to all staff and any education group associated with Robbinsdale Area Schools.

SDEF requires all grant requests to incorporate a Hands-on Learning Component within the grant.  Many of the previously funded grants included hands-on learning components.  Hands-on learning, also called “experiential learning” or “service learning,” is when learning integrates content and the experience within the learning environment. All grant applications are evaluated according to specific project criteria and are reviewed by a team of community members, parents, teachers and other education professionals.
