Community Fund for Innovation

About Us

The Seven Dreams Foundation is an independent, non-profit community fund founded by community members, parents and education professionals of Robbinsdale Area Schools. It is our mission to keep our learners on the front edge of education practice, regardless of fluctuations in state and federal funding. We raise funds from individual donors, community organizations and businesses. Grants are awarded annually to teachers and other education professionals in our district who have created a progressive and innovative proposal for advancement of education practice. All proposals must draw on accepted best practices, meet district objectives and involve community resources.

Statement of Values
  • If you are a learner in Robbinsdale Area Schools, you will succeed.
  • Every learner must be educated to his or her full potential.
  • Community members are the most valuable resource available to Robbinsdale Area Schools.
  • We approach innovation and progress with the discipline of science. Every initiative is compared against best-known practices and tested when possible.
  • Technology is an essential tool in the advancement of education. However, technology is a means to an end, not the end itself.
  • Teachers and staff are the foundation of all we do.
  • We place strong emphasis on fundamentals of educational readiness, learning processes and achievement.
  • We value the importance of administrative and support services in education.
  • We evaluate for results.
